There were challenges using the high tech audio/visual equipment in the Del Mar Center. The software needed updating and this wasn't known until just before the meeting began. The first half of the meeting was done over Zoom and individual laptops, iPads, etc. This caused some audio feedback issues. Then at about halfway the audio/visual system was rebooted and started to work. So, that is why there are some audio glitches in the recording below. I am glad that this was recorded for posterity for there is a lot of good information presented at this forum. To make it easier for people to follow the information, I am including the slide decks for reference. I would also like to point out there are resources at the bottom of this page including the TSRA website for emergency preparedness, the Independent Coast Observer 2018 insert "Fire Ready Mendonoma" and source materials cited in the presentation. - Linda C. Below was the slideshow used at the Forum held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 detailing the history of coastal fires, fire fighting, and fire risk mitigation in Mendonoma.
