On Saturday, March 30, 2024, The Sea Ranch Forum held the annual Candidates Forum for The Sea Ranch Association's Board of Directors election.
Paula Smith was the moderator.
Questions were submitted to the Election Committee beforehand, on the day of the event at the Del Mar Center Hall as well as on email for those joining remotely on Zoom. The questions were written down on note cards and drawn from a hat. There are seven candidates for three seats on the board. In alphabetical order they are: Manuel Alonso-Martinez, Robert Bedichek, Gina Hubbell (remotely over Zoom), Scott Nevin, David Rubinoff, Carl Shapiro, and Martha (Dibby) Tyler. There was a reception held at the Del Mar Center House after the event allowing members to mingle with the candidates and ask their own personal questions.
