The Sea Ranch Forum held its first meeting August 4, 1973. It sponsors events to educate the membership of The Sea Ranch and is not an official committee of The Sea Ranch Association. It is organized by Sea Ranch members and is independent of the Board of Directors and staff. This website will include information about upcoming events and links to videos of forums. The Sea Ranch Forum has a long history and legacy of forums over the years.
In 2019, the leadership of the Forum were exhausted from having run meetings for ten years. They wanted new volunteers to take over, but no one stepped forward and the Forum dissolved. Then came the pandemic in 2020, and in-person meetings went away for a while as being a health risk.
The Sea Ranch Forum now has new leadership and started again holding forums, but not on the monthly schedule it had for many years. Our first forum was recorded in April 2022 over Zoom at times convenient for the Sonoma County Sheriff candidates for the primary election. Those videos are available to view on our YouTube channel.
Our first in-person meeting since the relaunching of this organization was held on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at the Del Mar Center Hall. Our new Community Manager Menka Sethi was the guest. The recording of that meeting can be found on our YouTube channel and on our recent forums page.
These meetings will be hybrid with in-person attendance at the Del Mar Center Hall 40600 Leeward Road, The Sea Ranch and remote via Zoom. Recordings of the meetings will later be uploaded to our YouTube channel.
