Matt Sylvia, who died in 2001, was a master builder instrumental in converting our founding architects’ Sea Ranch design concepts into structures consistent with that vision. He was known for his attention to detail,
problem-solving ability, and larger than life personality.
Sea Ranch architect Don Jacobs, along with others who knew Matt well, will share stories
about Matt, whose contributions to TSR deserve to be honored during this 60 th anniversary
year.
