A Conversation with Betty Yee,
Candidate for Governor of California

The Sea Ranch Forum hosted Betty Yee, Candidate for California Governor on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. The conversation started with Betty telling us about her childhood and what inspired her into dedicating her life to public service and elective office. She then answered questions gathered from members of our community on political topics such as healthcare, affordable housing, child care, safety issues involving having reliable telecommunications, as well as changing taxing structures to be more equitable. We also talked about the horse race of this campaign and how it stands today.
Ten other candidates had been invited to participate, but either they did not accept or did their campaigns did not respond to our invitation.
The Sea Ranch Forum is not an official function of The Sea Ranch Association. It is organized by Sea Ranch members and is independent of the Board of Directors and staff.
